Among the network of members of Nordic Sustainable Health Care, Hygiene of Sweden already has several customers of the alcohol-free antibacterial solution BioPolymer+.
Noticing an increased interest from Hospitals and Health Care settings to find an alternative solution to traditional solvents for infection prevention Hygiene of Sweden offer both hand and surface disinfection with long lasting effect.
In some parts of the Hospitals ethanol based products are not suitable – as in the psychiatric department, due to the risk of abuse, in other parts they are simply not allowed due to the obvious risk of fire, as in the pressure chambers. Still these areas need to be safe from an infection perspective both for the patient and the medical team.
Department for kids are another area were alcohol free products is a wise choice.
During the pandemic instruments, equipment and materials as gynecologist chair and beds has been damaged due to the increased use of alcohol based products and continuous disinfection of critical contact points with the patients.
