Alcohol abuse fuels a pandemic

A recent report from Gothenburg University, says that the intake of alcohol decrease our common sense and makes it easier to spread viruses during social settings.

The increased availability of alcohol due to alcohol-based sanitizers on every table has lead to that more people abuse the hand sanitizers as a “free” drug.

Locks, chains, supervision has lead to increased work load and a less sustainable way of delivering a hygiene solution compared to smarter options.

“Very few people would steal a soap but hand sanitizers has become a subject for theft as they are being used as a drug. It has lead to that companies in some cases present very unattractive solutions, chained and locked up, not even clean or decent to not have to exchange it constantly. The contradiction to clean and safe which is what a hygiene solution delivers it is what is should look like itself.”  – Anders Karlsson, Head of International Hygiene of Sweden
